Lentil Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. lentils
6 c. water
2 chopped carrots
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
other seasonings if desired: oregano, garlic or marjoram
Preparation

Combine the lentils and water in kettle.
Cook for 30 minutes, or until lentils are tender.
Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until carrots are tender.
