Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
2 egg yolks (use whites for meringue)
1 1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan.
Mix in flour and sugar; add eggs, then add milk.
Stir constantly.
Cook until thick over medium heat.
Add vanilla.
Pour into cooked pie shell.
Top with meringue.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
