Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1 1/2 c. tomatoes
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
Preparation
    Saute
    onion and pepper in fat.
    Add tomatoes, water and seasoning.
    Bring to a boil; stir in rice, cover and cook over low heat about 30 minutes.
