Apricot Almond Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus white or yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
    1/2 c. finely chopped almonds
    1 c. apricot preserves
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1/3 c. apricot preserves
    1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Generously grease a 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine cake mix and 1/2 cup margarine and mix until crumbly. Stir in almonds.
    Reserve 1 cup and pat rest into bottom of pan. Carefully spread 1 cup of apricot preserves over crust (for easy spreading, heat).
    Beat all other ingredients except coconut and reserved crust until blended.
    Spread over apricot preserves. Combine coconut and crust mix and sprinkle over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and center is set. Cool completely and store in fridge.
