Oatmeal Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick uncooked oatmeal
    1 c. lightly packed brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oleo, softened
    2 large eggs
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oatmeal. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes. Add sugars and oleo. Stir until oleo melts. Add eggs. Mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake in 13 x 9-inch floured pan at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until done in center of cake.
