Cherry-Coke Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (20 oz. each) dark pitted cherries
    1 pkg. (3 oz.) cherry gelatin
    1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
    1 c. Coca-Cola
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Heat
    cherries and their juice to boiling.
    Remove from heat and
    add gelatin.
    Add pineapple, with its juice.
    Stir. Pour
    in Coke and nuts.
    Cool.
    Pour in dish or mold.
    Refrigerate.
