Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. onion
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 c. carrots, sliced
    2 garlic cloves
    2 cans tomatoes
    2 tsp. parsley
    1/2 tsp. basil
    2 cans kidney beans
    2 c. cooked elbow macaroni
    pepper to taste
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Combine onion, broth and garlic.
    Cook until onion is translucent.
    Add remaining ingredients, except beans and macaroni.
    Cook about 10 minutes until carrots are tender.
    Then add beans and macaroni.
    Heat.
    Can top with Parmesan cheese.
