Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. shortening
    3 tsp. soda (rounding)
    1 c. molasses
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream the shortening, sugar and eggs; add molasses and vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Take small balls of the dough, roll in hand and flatten slightly.
    If the cookies do not crack; add more flour.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0
    for 12 to 15 minutes.
