Hot Buttered Rum - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. real butter
    3 sticks cinnamon
    6 whole cloves
    1 whole nutmeg or 1/2 tsp.
    pinch of salt
    2 to 3 c. rum (3 c. makes it very strong)
    2 qt. apple cider
Preparation
    Cook in crock-pot for 2 hours on high.
    Serve warm.
    Keeps good in refrigerator.
    Can be warmed in cup or more at a time.
