Carolina Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cooking oil
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. peeled, diced apples
3 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Mix oil, sugar and eggs together.
Sift flour, soda and salt together.
Add to egg mixture and mix thoroughly.
Add vanilla, apples and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour.
Remove cake and let cool.
Top with the following glaze.
