Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    1 c. mashed squash, cooked
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Beat egg in squash.
    Add other ingredients.
    Drop by tablespoon in hot oil.
    Flatten to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cook to golden brown.
    Turn to brown other side.
    Makes about 14 patties. Drain on paper towel.
