Mayonnaise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    butter the size of a walnut
    1 heaping tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Stir in sour cream, vinegar, sugar, butter and mustard which has been rubbed smooth with a little vinegar.
    Put on the stove in double boiler and cook until it thickens.
    This will keep for several weeks in a cool place.
