Buttermilk Almond Scones Cafe Latte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large eggs
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. almond extract
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    4 tsp. double-acting baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. + 2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 sticks (1 c.) cold unsalted butter, cut into bits
    2 c. sliced blanched almonds
    1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    In a bowl, whisk together 3 of the eggs, the buttermilk and almond extract.
