White Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (1/4-inch) slices ham
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 medium onion, diced
    3 (8 oz.) containers light cream
    2 c. water
    2 large chicken bouillon cubes
    2 (16 oz.) cans Great Northern white beans
    1 dash black pepper
Preparation
    Cube slices of ham and onion and saute in melted butter. Add cream, water, beans, chicken bouillon and pepper; bring to a boil. Lower heat to simmer and cook 1 hour. Stir occasionally. Mash the beans in the soup. Cook another 20 minutes and serve.
