Apple Cheese Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. apples, diced
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. corn syrup
2/3 c. sifted flour
1/3 c. butter
Preparation

Arrange apples in greased, shallow baking dish, 10 x 6 x 2-inch.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Pour lemon juice and syrup over apples.
Combine sugar, flour and salt.
Cut in butter until mixture is consistency of coarse corn meal.
Lightly stir in cheese.
Top apples with this mixture.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until apples are very tender.
Serve warm with or without cream.
