Cabbage Casserole (Cheesy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. salt
    4 c. sliced cabbage
    1 c. grated American cheese
    1 c. milk
    1 medium onion
    2 qt. water
    1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Boil cabbage, onion and salt to wilt.
    Drain and place half of cabbage in buttered dish; cover with layer of 1/3 cup cheese.
    Top with 1/2 cup cracker crumbs.
    Repeat all 3 layers.
    Dot with butter.
    Pour in milk to cover crumbs.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
