Potato Rivel Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 peeled and cubed potatoes
    1 egg
    salt and pepper
    1/2 stick butter
    minced onions
    flour
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cover potatoes and onions with water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Mix egg, flour, salt and pepper with a fork until pieces are about pea size to make rivels.
    Add rivels to boiling potatoes and stir immediately.
    Cook for about 8 minutes.
    Add milk and butter. Continue stirring so rivels don't stick.
    Simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes while stirring.
