Dutch Coleslaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. vinegar
4 Tbsp. sugar
6 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. dry mustard
4 Tbsp. butter
4 eggs, slightly beaten
6 Tbsp. milk or cream
12 c. cabbage
4 small onions, minced
Preparation

Heat the first 6 ingredients to boil.
Add some of mix to beaten eggs and then add this to the rest of the vinegar mixture. Cook until mix thickens and boils.
Remove from heat and add milk or cream.
Pour, while hot, over shredded cabbage and onions. Chill and serve.
Serves 18.
