Chuck Wagon Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    beef chuck roast
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. water
    1 can tomato sauce
    2 medium chopped onions
    2 garlic cloves
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. catsup
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Remove most of fried meat from pan.
    Pour off drippings.
    Pour can of soup into pan, stir well to loosen browned bits.
    Add 1/4 cup water and 2 to 4 tablespoons meat drippings, as desired. Heat, stir often.
    Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
    Especially good with beef, chicken, ham and pork.
