Diabetic Fruit Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c chopped dates
1/2 c chopped prunes
1/2 c raisins
1 c water
2 eggs
1 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 c flour
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c chopped nuts
Preparation

Boil together the fruits, water, and oleo.
Mix together eggs, soda, salt, flour, vanilla, and nuts.
Add batter to fruit mixture.
Bake in 7x11 pan at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, if you want spicy bars add 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp nutmeg.
