Roman Holiday Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. hot Italian sausage, cut in 1/2-inch slices
1 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed
1 can cheese soup
1 can tomato soup
1 c. water
4 c. cooked wide noodles
4 slices Cheddar cheese, cut in half diagonally
Preparation

In skillet, brown beef and cook sausage and onion with oregano until done.
Stir to separate meat (use shortening, if necessary). Pour off fat.
Add soups and water.
Combine meat mixture and noodles.
Pour into 2-quart shallow baking dish (12 x 8 x 2-inch). Cover.
Bake for 40 minutes (375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0) or until hot.
Top with cheese.
Bake until cheese melts.
Makes about 7 cups.
