Mrs. Ledbetter'S Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 oz.) bag German sweet cooking chocolate
    1/4 c. butter
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (10-inch) deep dish pie shell, unbaked (see note)
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and butter, stirring to blend, in top of double boiler (or microwave on High for about 1 minute, stir to blend). Cool slightly.
