Hot Pecan Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. butter
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 tsp. milk
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. dried beef, chopped
    1 small onion, grated
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cut unpeeled cucumbers in thin slices.
    Sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar to taste.
    Barely cover cucumber slices with mixture of 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water.
    Chill 1 hour.
    Serve undrained or drain and serve with French dressing or mayonnaise. Arrange on greens with tomato slices.
