Apricot And Pineapple Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange flavored gelatin
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 (4 3/4 oz.) jars strained apricot baby food
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (9 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
    chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine pineapple and gelatin in a small saucepan; stir over low heat until gelatin is dissolved.
    Remove from heat.
    Add sugar, baby food and cream cheese.
    Mix well, but do not beat. Chill until slightly thickened.
    Fold in whipped topping and spoon into an 8-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with pecans and chill until firm. Yields 8 servings.
