Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck tomatoes
    4 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 c. canning salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2 cloves garlic
    1 1/2 lb. onions
Preparation
    Chop onions and garlic and cook in salad oil.
    Put in spices, sugar, salt and sliced tomatoes.
    Simmer for 1 hour.
    Put in jar and seal up.
    Brown 1 pound hamburger and use for spaghetti sauce.
