Texas Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
nuts (optional)

Preparation

In a saucepan, heat to boiling 2 sticks butter or margarine, 1 cup water and 4 tablespoons cocoa, then add sugar, flour, soda, buttermilk, eggs and nuts and mix good.
Pour on large cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
While baking, make icing.
