Creamy Coconut Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg whites
    1/3 c. white Karo
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Mix in a double boiler.
    Boil and stir until stiff (8 to 10 minutes).
    Spread over cake and top with coconut.
