Baked Brisket Au Jus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. brisket
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 large onion, sliced
    4 ribs celery, sliced
    1 cup brewed coffee
    1/2 can tomato sauce
    1/2 can tomato paste
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Place brisket fat side down in roasting pan.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Top with onion and celery slices.
    Stir together tomato sauce, tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce.
    Pour over beef.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cover and bake 2 more hours, basting with juices occasionally.
    Add coffee and bake, covered, 2 more hours.
    Check every 30 minutes for dryness.
    Add 1/4 cup water if needed.
    Remove brisket from pan and let stand 20 minutes.
    Slice brisket across the grain with a sharp knife. Strain pan drippings and serve with brisket.
