Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter, softened
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 (4 oz.) bar chocolate candy
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix brown sugar, butter, egg yolk and vanilla.
Stir in flour and salt.
Press into greased oblong pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inch.
