Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cut up squash
    1 chopped onion
    1 slice white bread, broken into pieces
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
    salt and pepper
    Ritz cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Cook squash with onion in salted water until tender.
    Drain. Soak bread pieces in milk; add beaten egg, cheese, salt and pepper, then mix with squash.
    Pour all into a greased 1-quart casserole. Top with Ritz cracker crumbs and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until set.
