Meatball Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. corn meal
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. fat
    2 c. tomato juice
    3 potatoes, quartered
    6 carrots, halved
    12 small onions
    salt
Preparation
    Combine first 9 ingredients.
    Mix thoroughly and form into balls.
    Sprinkle with flour and brown in hot fat.
    Place in 4-quart casserole.
    To fat in skillet add tomato juice and cook until thick.
    Pour over meatballs.
    Arrange vegetables around meatballs, sprinkle with salt.
    Cover tightly and bake 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven. Serves 4 to 6.
