Swiss Steak Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large potatoes, cut in cubes
    2 c. sliced carrots
    1 c. sliced celery
    1 green pepper, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. mushrooms, fresh or canned
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 (13 oz.) can Swiss Steaks
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 c. cold water
    1 envelope Geo. Washington broth
Preparation
    Saute vegetables in margarine in a large electric skillet or Dutch oven until barely tender.
    Add Swiss Steaks and G. Washington broth.
    Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to vegetable mixture.
    Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
    Season to taste. Serves 6.
