Carrot Kugel * - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
3/4 c. oil (canola)
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 egg whites
1 Tbsp. water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. grated carrots (about 4 medium size carrots)
Preparation

Stir together all dry ingredients except sugar.
Beat the oil, brown sugar and egg whites.
Stir in the flour mixture.
Stir in the water, lemon juice and grated carrots.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in greased 8-inch baking dish or in ring mold for 45 minutes.
Can be frozen after baked and cooled.
