Molded Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. grated cheese
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    3/4 c. sugar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in hot water.
    Mix pineapple and sugar.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour over Jell-O.
    Mix.
    Chill until mixture begins to thicken.
    Add cheese, nuts and Cool Whip.
    Mix well.
    Chill several hours before serving.
