Sausage Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. mild bulk sausage
2 c. buttermilk baking mix
1 1/2 c. grated apple (with skin)
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Stuff turkey; rub outside with bacon fat or oleo and salt. Place in extra large brown paper bag.
Seal opening securely with a wire tie.
Place in roasting pan in cold oven.
Bake at 500\u00b0 for first hour, 400\u00b0 for second hour and 300\u00b0 for third hour.
With this method, the turkey is always done to perfection, whether it's 12 pounds or 24 pounds.
