Old Fashioned Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. butter, margarine or shortening
3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Cut butter into coarse crumbs with a fork; stir into a soft dough.
Turn onto a floured board and knead 10 times until smooth.
Roll out on board to a square to fit a 9 x 12-inch pan, or place on cookie sheet.
Cut dough into 12 portions.
Do not separate.
Leave in square.
Bake 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
