Swedish Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. ground pork
    boneless pork shoulder
    3/4 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. allspice
    4 Tbsp. ground onion (1 medium)
Preparation
    Put everything but meat into blender and mix well.
    Pour over meat and thoroughly mix.
    Shape into small 1 to 1 1/2-inch balls. Fry gently to brown.
    Cover and simmer with small amount of water after meatballs well browned.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Can make gravy from drippings or small can mushroom sauce works well.
