Lemon Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. dry bread or 2 c. soft bread, cut into small pieces
4 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 lemon juice and grated rind
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Soak bread crumbs with milk 1/2 hour.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Beat in eggs, lemon juice, rind and vanilla.
Stir in the milk mixture.
Pour into a 2 1/2 quart baking dish.
Place the dish in a pan of hot water and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
