Oatmeal Crisps - cooking recipe

4 Tbsp. butter (unsalted), softened
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. rolled oats
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, mix 4 tablespoons butter, sugar, flour, vanilla and salt until smooth. Mix in rolled oats. Drop firmly packed spoonfuls of dough 2-inches apart onto baking sheets. Bake until golden brown. Rotate sheets halfway through baking (about 12 to 15 minutes). Cool on sheet 1 minute. Transfer with thin metal spatula onto paper towels and cool completely.
