No Bake Date Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. baking dates
1/2 c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. honey
2 1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. coconut
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

In saucepan, cook dates, margarine and honey until thick and blended.
Remove from heat and add vanilla, oats, coconut and walnuts.
Press mixture into an 8 x 8-inch greased pan.
Let cool, then store in airtight storage container.
