Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. dried navy beans
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. chili sauce or ketchup
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. mustard
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    2 cans beer
    dash of hot sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight.
    Drain, re-cover with water and bring to boil.
    Simmer gently for 30 minutes.
    Drain bean juice and reserve 1 to 2 cups.
    Add remaining ingredients to beans and mix.
    Pour mixture into a bean pot or large casserole bowl.
    Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 for 5 to 7 hours.
    If liquid evaporates below level of beans, add beer or reserved bean juice.
    Remove cover the last 45 minutes.
