Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. thick applesauce
2 tsp. soda (added to apples)
2 c. raisins
1 c. pecans
1 c. butter
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
3 eggs

Preparation

Cream sugar
and butter; add apples after soda has been added. Add flavoring to flour and sift twice.
Flour nuts and raisins and
fold
into
batter.
Add
well
beaten eggs last. Bake in greased and floured tube pan in a preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
