Molasses Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. light molasses
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. water
    2 tsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 1/3 qt. popped corn, salted
Preparation
    Combine molasses, sugar, water and vinegar.
    Cook to hard boil stage (250\u00b0).
    Remove from heat; wipe crystals off pan.
    Add soda; stir to mix thoroughly.
    Pour over corn, mixing well and shape into 2 1/2-inch balls.
    Makes 10 balls.
