Tom Fina'S Holiday Egg Nog - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 pt. heavy cream
1 pt. whole milk
1/2 pt. whiskey and 1/8 c. rum (can be omitted or increased according to taste)
Preparation

Separate eggs.
In a large mixing bowl, whip egg whites until they are stiff and dry.
Gently fold sugar in.
Whip yolks until they are thick.
Fold the thickened yolks into egg whites.
With the mixer, on slow speed, gradually add milk, cream and alcohol (if desired).
Makes two quarts.
