Marinated Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2/3 c. tarragon vinegar
    1 medium garlic clove, minced
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. water
    dash of Tabasco
    1 lb. mushrooms, sliced in 1/4-inch slices
    1 medium onion, cut in half and sliced into thin slices
Preparation
    Mix oil, vinegar, garlic and seasonings.
    Toss gently with mushrooms and onion.
    Marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours.
    Drain before serving.
    Excellent as an appetizer.
    Great for picnics.
