Baptist Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. lard
    1 stick oleo
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sweet milk
    vanilla, desired amount
Preparation
    Cream together lard, oleo and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Mix flour and baking powder and add alternately with milk.
    Pour into a tube pan.
    Start off cooking in a cold oven and cook at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
