Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick of butter
    1/2 cup of oil
    2 cups of sugar
    5 egg yolks (beaten)
    2 cups of flour
    1 teaspoon of baking soda
    1 cup of buttermilk
    1 tsp. of vanilla
    1 cup of chopped nuts
    5 egg whites, beat until stiff
Preparation
    Cream butter and oil. Add sugar and beat well. Add egg yolks and beat. Add flour and soda alternately with buttermilk. Add vanilla, coconut and nuts. Fold in egg whites. Pour into 3 by 8 inch pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
