Turtle Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chocolate chips

Preparation

Mix the first 3 ingredients for 3 minutes.
Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
Pour hot syrup over crust layer after you have sprinkled pecans on.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Remove and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Let it stand 5 minutes.
Cut into bars.
