Chicken And "Slick" Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 lb.) hen or 2 medium size chickens
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 c. oil
    3/4 c. boiling water (real hot tap water will work)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook chicken or chickens in boiling salted water until tender. Remove from broth.
    Let chicken cool.
    Debone and set aside.
    Put chicken back into broth and bring to a boil.
