Strawberry Crumble Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Duncan Hines Butter Recipe cake mix, baked as directed
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 (6 oz.) box strawberry jello
    1 (10 oz.) box frozen strawberries
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake as directed on box.
    Cook the sugar, water and cornstarch until thickens; remove from heat.
    Add the jello.
    Add the frozen strawberries to jello mixture.
    Crumble cake.
    Layer cake, then jello mixture.
    Layer again; add Cool Whip on top.
